Why should I choose UnitemMower?

We have noticed that even though labor cost and shortage are serious problems in the landscaping industry, only a few autonomous mowers are available.

We think that the reasons are:

  • uneasiness with the time needed to design the system,
  • concern about the safety of the system,
  • unclear and unfinished regulations,
  • expensiveness of technology,
  • high power consumption which is a disadvantage for electric mowers.

To address these issues we:

  • optimized the process of adaptation to any z-turn in 4-6 mos,
  • joined ISO certification efforts to be up to date,
  • built the system with certification in mind,
  • reduced power consumption to 100 W.

Tell us about your lawnmower’s operating conditions, and we will select the right set of sensors and components for its operation. The modular design of our autonomy system allows adaptation of Unitem technology to platforms of various sizes and hardware configurations. This will make your new autonomous lawnmower efficient, reliable and fully adapted to your requirements.

To make your industrial lawnmower autonomous, we will equip it with high-end technology:

  • scanning sensors (cameras, lidars, depth sensors),
  • sensors controlling the robot’s operation (IMU sensors, encoders),
  • precise RTK-GPS,
  • artificial intelligence making decisions on any obstacle avoidance (human, animal, or object),
  • computer performing all necessary calculations,
  • application for managing the mower’s operation.

OBSTACLE DETECTION IN MOTION

Do you want your mower and its surroundings to be safe, even if the GPS signal and the Internet fail? So do we. Therefore, we developed a reliable security system:

  • robot location and obstacle recognition are possible thanks to a set of sensors such as cameras, lidars, encoders, GPS and IMUs;
  • all calculations for AI are made on board – the robot has its own computer;
  • the application connects directly to the mower, without an Internet connection;
  • in the event of GPS signal loss, the robot uses other available sensors to supervise its tasks.

This ensures that the mower will not stop working if it encounters an obstacle, changes operating conditions or loses GPS signal – it’s fully reliable!

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SUPPORTING EMPLOYEES

The landscaping maintenance team does not have to constantly monitor the mower’s operation. The Unitem autonomy system relieves one of the employees from cumbersome and tedious mowing work. When equipped with the system, the mower does the job itself.

What’s more, the employees in the vicinity may feel safe. If they happen to be within the robot’s virtual barrier, the robot will detect them and react accordingly – stop and wait or evade them.

The Unitem autonomy system not only focuses on assisting workers in mowing. It can also relieve them of the responsibility of checking the mower’s efficiency. The system continuously monitors the condition of the machine on which it is installed.

REMOTE SUPERVISION OF THE ROBOT'S WORK

Assign your employee to more enjoyable tasks and have the autonomous mower do the mowing. Leave the mower supervision to our dedicated intuitive application, which:

  • allows defining both the working area and basic mowing parameters;
  • allows, remotely and in real time, monitoring the robot’s status and work progress;
  • notifies the operator of events requiring their response;
  • needs only standard devices (smartphone or tablet) without internet access.
